OK, the lubricant didn’t work, so I took the opportunity today to remove the antenna. Removed the antenna from behind the guard, took the Black plastic cover off the unit and noticed the plastic retractor cable had snapped in half, replace with Arepro antenna, the closet available to original, $32.00 from Repco. All back together working fine.
