With so many people pulling apart AU's these days, safety items like steering and brakes should be of concern to a prospective buyer when buying from these 'expert AU home mechanics'. I have been caught out myself. Lessons learned.

Wonder how many AU owners out there have removed and re-installed a faulty intermediate shafts not realising they are about to lose steering altogether sooner or later. The 'expert home mechanic' is a worry indeed.
