In all seriousness though, I’ve had my MXS 5 for well over 7 years and it’s still operating well. Any decent charger is worth it’s price ( high or low ) if it’s saved you even 1 battery going off too early !! |
I must have had my Ctek MX5 for 7yrs as well, It came with a boat I bought and I use it regularly keeping both my boat batteries in good condition as well as the car.
I look at it this way $99 /7yrs is less than $15 per year, would you pay $15 per year to have a charge that works well and does all you need? Of course you would.
I had not heard of Ctek before it came with the boat, I still have my old Arlec charger from 20yrs ago as well, its just not as easy to set up as its a little bigger.
