Problem is most people have no idea about the mechanical parts of their cars. My brother bought a diesel van last week. He had no idea what a DPF was until I told him. Salesman didn’t say a word.
He uses it for work all day around town. The engine will probably get hot enough, but he probably won’t drive fast and long enough to burn it off.
