But in my first comment, I mentioned that that number (82k) only represents 1/3 of the original number that were sold (which was about 250k). 33% is not a particularly high figure. Look at how many 1997-2002 Toyota Camrys/Vientas are still registered - over 120,000. About 170,000 of those models were sold, meaning 70% are still on the road.
