Running fibre from the FTTN cabinet to the house doesn’t upgrade you to FTTP. The fibre will need to be run from a GPON which is located upstream of the node cabinets, which means a longer fibre run.

It’s surprising how many people think they can get a full fibre service just by running fibre to the node.

As FTTC is mentioned I thought I’d add that the update FTTC to FTTP requires the lead in to be replaced with fibre only.
In order of best it goes FTTP, FTTC, FTTB/N, fixed wireless and finally a long way behind Skymuster
