For what its worth, 1969 model 1600GT are rarer than V6 GTs. You never see them at any shows. Kicking myself for selling mine many years ago.
As far as conversions go, check with your Rego Authority in your state for permissable engine swaps. Rules have changed recently in (at least) NSW I believe.

Looks like its an original GT, with original 1600cc engine, 4sp box, black trim, GT diff.
Regarding engine rules, with a Victorian club rego, i believe you can put whatever engine you want, will definately clarify though.
And you can buy mine off me haha, I purchased it for $3800, $3900 and its yours haha
