With regard to club rego, you'll need to get a RWC before the club will sign your paperwork to get a permit. If fitting a V8 you'll need an engineers certificate to get the RWC. Unlike other clubs who have a representative who is willing to vouch for the safety of cars in order to get club permit, the Capri Club of Victoria, will not do this. (And rightly so) The individual owner is responsible for keeping their car "legal" under the terms of the club permit scheme. This is to protect other club members on the club permit scheme (including myself)
