could be a split/ broken clutch fork have fun driving it home .....I had a simmilar eppisode in my worked xc gs 250 I snapped a selector fork and was stuck in first gear , luckily it was 600am Sunday morning and the clutch still worked ,I floord it to 80klicks in first and put the clutch in .......o what lovely memmories from my youth
