Default Re: Grey Nomads - grumpy pains in the ***

last year my wife and myself went on a holiday. We started in Nelsons Bay at a Camping Ground.

After that we went to Coffs Harbour, Murwillumbah, then to Rockhampton which we stayed again at a Camping ground, We don't have a caravan but we did have a big tent.

We stayed in a motel in Emerald because it was too hot outside then next day drove to Longreach which we saw the Qantas outback Museum.

We left Longreach the following day and went to Mt Isa. The next day we drove 1,100kms to Alice Springs the speed limit in NT is 130kmh.

We left Alice Springs three days later at 7am and drove down the Sturt Highway arriving in Cooper Pedy at 2pm. We noticed petrol prices on the Sturt Highway was $2.07 a litre for ULP 91.

Then we drove from Cooper Pedy to Port Pirie were my wifes aunt lives stayed there 2 nights then next stop was Hay then home.

Ive nearly always gone on driving Holidays as I used to drive for a living for 30 years.
