i would question that if he's a 1st year? some tradesmen i know in coalmining don't even earn that sort of coin.
as for the question someone asked about FIFO as opposed to living in the area. most of the remote towns are well... sh1tholes and blokes end up on the **** 'cause there's nothing else to do... well so i'm told by guys who've been there, done that...
