Before the pump was changed, when the oil pressure light came on, it did have a rattle. This is no longer the case with the new pump.

Performance is as good as ever. Fuel economy is the same, and there's nothing different about the exhaust... It's never even blown smoke when I kick it in the guts... Oil consumption is fine... I've had the car for 110,000 km and it's never needed a top up...

Mate of mine who's a mechanic suggested I try a thicker oil, seeing as the car has done just under 200,000km... Just seems weird that all this happened immediately after an oil change...
