The guy even tried to tell me that he couldn't refund the cost for the labour because then he's out of pocket, he has to pay his guys.

I said to him "Mate, come on, you don't pay your blokes anywhere near the $90 an hour you've charged me"... He got shirty with me and told me that it wasn't up to me how much he paid his boys... Completely missing the point...

Getting a little ahead of myself here though, because I don't have the car back, the 2nd mechanic still wants to test it in the morning and make sure it's ok... But still, it's just annoying...

Can someone confirm for me that the part numbers for the oil filters for the petrol and the diesel engines are different? Just want to get my ducks in a row from a 3rd source before I go to FT...
