Bman does have a realistic point, and am taking it into account, but if the price is right i will go XR4 all the way regardless. I cannot afford a XR5 unfortunatley but i do see a good argument in a better bang for buck car if i lay 25-30g down.
If XR4 does get pushed aside, i probably wont look at a polo unless 26g drive away. Only other options would be a 2nd hand clio either 172 or 182 but besides a great powerful engine and chassis i aint to fond of its interior size and styling.
