Where:- Driver Training Centre, Sutton Rd.
Time:- Two Sessions, Session 1 - Morning 8.30am till 12.30pm
Session 2 - Afternoon 12.30pm till 4.30pm

Its Time….
Once again we have our annual Skid Pan Day on Sunday 3rd July 2011 we have booked the Skid Pan for the whole day so we have a morning session and an afternoon session, 10 places only available for each session.
Each session consists of a brief classroom lesson and then we can hit the track. 2 cars on the track at a time, for a period of about 10 - 15 minutes then the next 2 cars have a go and so on. Rick Bates will jump in the passenger’s seat to instruct you in the correct way to handle your pride and joy. Once you are confident he lets you loose by yourself. In the past we all end up with about 4 periods on the track in the 4 hour session.
Rick Bates supplies morning/afternoon tea, The FPV Club will supply a BBQ Lunch. The lunch will overlap both sessions.
Cost will be $132.00 each.

fat4D, club members have priority. However, if there are any time slots available closer to the day we will let you know. Stay tuned.

Dave, I reckon I should be on commission

Actually, I thought it would be useful for people who may be considering going down a similar path to know who some of the suppliers or manufacturers might be. It takes a bit of research to find this stuff out so happy to share the knowledge, answer questions etc

Finally something I can attend!!

I'm happy to officially join the club on the day if that works for people? Would prefer the morning session, but I'll happily defer to the afternoon session to make room a member. How do I pay for this? On the day or is there a club account or something?

Cheers Guys...

Ok ... Its getting closer and we need to fill this event as I have committed to both sessions for the day.

Rick Bates has a couple of guys with HSVs that are interested if we need places filled.

So lets open this event up to non members as well as members of our Club to fill it up.

1 spot available in the morning session

5 spots available in the afternoon session.

Cheers

Glenn

I might have two people lined up to come along to fill the numbers. One is a blueprint XR8 the other is an SS commodore, if you guys are okay with having a rival there let me know, he is keen.... I'll make sure he picks up all the pieces that fall off his car after his session.

Anyone know of a way to stop the handbrake from dis-engaugeing in a BA when you pull it on while driving? It would be extremely handy for the weekend's activity...
