Does your insurer have a preferred brand?

I recall when I had my Festiva new and unalarmed the insurance company suggested I install a Brant alarm. I can't recall if they provided a discount but they were a little more expensive than I was happy to pay.

I’d be suggesting a well-concealed 4G tracking device as well. A desirable XY is surely more likely to be stolen with Go-Jacks and a tilt tray than driven off.

The most basic immobilisers are things like the Rhino RCXi, which is designed as an RF remote add-on for central locking but has a single immobiliser circuit included. If you have a concealed fuel shutoff you might need a true alarm kit as they often have two or three immobiliser circuits - you can leave the siren out, even go full stealth and not have the flashing lights when triggered.

I use these: https://www.jaycar.com.au/steelmate-...basic/p/LA9003

There's a bit of wiring involved per the 2 download on that page but they work well.
