Default *URGENT* help needed, valve cover removal

I need to replace a leaky valve cover seal on a 2.0L Zetec and i'm having trouble removing the cover. I've removed all the bolts, including the four holding the cam belt cover and it wont budge. it doesnt even feel loose. what am i missing?

If you've removed all the bolts, there shouldn't be an issue. Either a vaccum (have you removed crankcase breather hose? Back right hand side of valve cover), or it is just stuck down with gunk. I'd try and slide a blade of some description between the head and the valve cover to see if I could break the seal
