Though I'd post this here to get some opinions.
Few of us would doubt the benefits of an E85 tune together with fuel pump and injector upgrade. The only downside is the lack of flexibility in a daily driver. As I see the situation, I'm hoping one, or more, of the tuning companies will get on board and offer a true flex fuel setup, so your ford can run any percentage mix. Switzer Performance have done it successfully here on their GTR. (over 900hp) ![]() I can't see any reason why it couldn't be offered as an option for performance fords. Switzer are going to use Syvecs stand alone ECU, which price wise doesn't seem too bad (around $1,700) to make it work. I'm hoping this idea can be progressed by the very active forum members (CAT600) we're looking at you .. ![]() Maybe Simon from Xtreme or Herrod or any of our sponsers can work on a package that works. Thoughts and opinions ? |

They have an E-85 tune for E series Fords if you get a J3 chip running on the factory ECU.
