Lightbulb My AU, Need ideas!

G'day guys! I just baught my AU 3 months ago. last week i had new 18' Lenso RS5 wheels and CEAT Tyres fitted.

Iv got some money left over and im not sure what to do with the car now, I live in a small town and nobody has one like mine so im trying to make it a bit more different to other falcons. I dont want anything major like body kits or a Huge wing or anything like that just some nifty little things.. I thought of new lights and maybe Bi-Xenon globe upgrade?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Chris.

Forgive the images there on funny angles cause i didnt have much room in the drive way Lol

The Exact model is the 2000 AU Classic,

Red P's stop me from doing anything to the engine so i wont be touching that for a while yet

Say hello to my wife's parents while you're there! Window tinting, lowering, remove mud spats and a good exhaust is where I would start!

Quick suggestion, it needs a couple of inch's out of the ride height, and/or a dark tint. That'll make it look nice, and i reckon that will be enough

I'll second these. Paint calipers, chrome interior door handles and clear side indicators are all quick, cheap and bling up your car mods. Lower it and take off the mud flaps
PM sent re : momo gear and C2R grill.

It sounds like these guys have all the ideas you will need to make it unique. Forster seems to have a few jap cars.
I go to TAFE at tuncurry and most of my IT class are older people.

G'day Guys i thought id update.

I ripped off all the mud guards and weather shields and had to have the panel beaters touch up under it all from where it had rubbed.

looks ten times better without all that sh!t on it. next is C2R Grill off HOTC2R to put on

I suspect the 167@ the wheels is the same! I suppose he means at the flywheel?

In any case, another AU getting some good mod treatment! That can only be a good thing! LOL!

not a problem. Average rwkw for a stock Au is about 105rwkw

another thought could be s2 or 3 bonnet/front bar assembly. perhaps with twin light setup and t series front bar. gives an awesome "face" on the au and works well with the lower stance. of course that may be getting a little bit pricey, but then again, once the mod bug bites, what mod isnt expensive!!

Another vote for lowering it. Mate of mine just put 18's on his AU wagon and lowered it about an inch. The car was completely transformed from both a looks and handling perspective. Don't go nuts, an inch or so will do it. Any lower she'll be a cop magnet.

go the "tint-a-car" "midnight black" their darkest legal tint, looks hell good on my white s2 wagon. lowering is good with big rims, especially since u have removed the mud spats, perhaps a set of gt stripes (gold or red) to really get the heads turning
