Hi all, I don't know if this link has ever been posted on here before, but check out the work done by this guy in Illinois restoring this old workshop:-
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=51567 Be prepared for a long haul though, it is up to 340 pages, but it is incredible.

Yeah......I found it in the Memory Lane section.
Read the whole thread over a couple of days. I'm almost addicted to reading through some of the other builds too...

Me too, I am only up to page 17 so far though. Hmmm, to have unlimited funds and time. They obviously pay pilots too much in the good old USA.

Interesting read. I'd be too scared to actually work in that garage though.

It is pretty but it is a shame he didnt create more of the atmosphere of the 1930s workshop.

Sweet zombie jesus...all the stuff in a mans garage might just come in handy some day!! As my late father used to always say, "Keep a thing for seven years and you're sure to find a use for it!"... ![]() |

Isnt it also amazing when you save x amount of crap for that day it will come in handy for many years until you get tired of tripping over it and decide to have a big spring clean............. the week after chuck it you need it. |
