I need 2 new tyres after replacing the first pair of a set of Primacy 3 ST tyres last year. I've checked the service records, and this last pair has lasted somewhere over 70,000 km. That is by a considerable margin a record for me.
I have had the wheels aligned whenever the wear has started to look uneven, not rotated them often enough, and kept the pressures at 35 front and rear. The Primacy 3 is no more, so a pair of the 4's will be fitted next week. They look quite different to the old tyre, with wider, straight grooves and a flatter shoulder. Hopefully they are at least as good as the old tyres. The person at the tyre shop tried to sell me the Pilot Sport, but he has a Nissan Skyline. I think the Primacy will be just fine for a Mondeo wagon!
