Mine will be well over the 90DB mark. With the windows up and stereo off, I can't hear the person next to me talking if I'm into it.

I work with guys who've got a wide range of previous work experience behind them, including two who used to be involved in testing of new vehicles for ADR compliance and so-on...very senior mechanical engineers who wanted a change ofn life (and better pay) so came out here driving trains.
Anyhoo, they said that yes, take a brand new vehicle that has had maybe two or three months normal use on the road by a normal owner, and run it through the ADR testing again...and there probably will be a whole heap of them it no longer meets. Testing a brand new unused car fresh off the production line and one which has had time for everything to bed in are two totally different kettles of fish... |
