I'm starting to believe that the more controversial the comments the better, it gets people talking and increases site traffic quick means better stats and more $$$

I added mine

Yeah, my 4 year old son does the same thing. He draws really cool cars like you do. Do yours have extra flames coming out of them? Extra flames make the cars go faster.

Idiot."

Funny how so many people care about someone they don't really care about. Or does it just give us something to complain about. A quiet day perhaps?

We all know how these reviews turn out. I sooner experience the car myself than listen to what journo's have to say.

Typical dowling propaganda.

This article (it's hardly a review afterall), does very little more than provide self acknowledgement to the fact Mr Dowling is a fool. At least he says so this time, a lot of us have been thinking (and saying) it for a good while now.

Comments have now been disabled from the site - he obviously does not feel comfortable that most of the respondents agree with him - he's a fool.

Or is it a tool?

Either way, I want my 60 seconds back that it took to read the dross.

Very much agree, who gives a rats what he thinks, drive them for yourself and make a decision, its not that hard.

Yes it is funny ..... bit like all those 1000's of posts everyday on forums spouting opinions

I enjoy reading unbiased, informative reviews ..... I would never ever buy because of a favorable review but enjoy readying on what I would like to consider as unbiased opinions from those supposedly in the know just for interest sake. Not from someone purporting to be an unbiased journo when in the first paragraph states that he is a Holden boy (or whatever brand), has nothing much really to say as he has already made up his mind because of past purchases, compares a car to one $20,000 plus cheaper (Maloo vs GS) and has so many holes in their thoughts that it becomes a totally pointless exercise.

If Mike does not believe that it would get the heckles up, he would have to be more ignorant and more to blame than Dowling. I really arent too bothered about it ..... but just find it baffling why they would not want to try and be taken seriously in the car scene? Read an RACV review and you get the idea on what good auto journalism is.

For Mike to close the comments is fair enough. Was getting a bit one sided ..... hang on ...... You can write a biased 1 sided report on a car and compare an apple with an orange but cannot except critisim from the Ford fraternity ????

If you want to see a bagging out of a product just look through these forums.

The thread has been locked as the comments are obviously a "smear campaign" against Josh.

All I read was guess who has got a nice big discount on a new HSV.
It may have been as high as 100% off retail price.

Nothing surprises me in that article. But really, if you slam your nuts in a door four times and complain it hurts, why would you go back for a fifth attempt??? He couldn't write an unbiased article if his life depended on it. His motorsport efforts are just as bad.

Gee now there's an idea a "smear campaign" against Josh. After we're done we can credit that moderator for giving us the idea.
