I did hundreds of kilometers in the i-Miev and Leaf when they arrived in Australia. I thought both cars were okay but were still not viable alternatives to fuel powered vehicles. That so many people have experienced problems with EVs is no surprise to me.

I've had my eye on the i-Miev for a while, they can be had for $ low teens now.

Being so small and light, I wonder what a battery replacement would cost either a uprated direct replacement or something bespoke that can be put together with locally sourced products.
