I heard it still survives.
IIRC 209 was raced at Bathurst by Dicky. Happy to be educated one way or the other.

As Bearman said it was Cobra #35 but it was raced by B Parsons/T Rabold and unfortunately DNF...

Dicky/Gary Scott raced the Bryan Byrt XC GS500 Hardtop which unfortunately was also a DNF, this car was sold at auction not so long ago...

1978 saw Moffat/Ickx & Bond/Gibson with Cobra's but pretty sure thy where just XB GT's mocked as Cobra's, also Dick/Schuppan was in another XC GS500..

Edit: just realised how old Bearman's post is that you replied to lol.....

The '78 Moffat cars were the '76 cars updated with XC noses for '77, then repainted in Cobra colours for '78. One was used again in '79 in Federation Insurance colours.

Other than the Parsons car, none of the XC race cars started out as Cobras; they were hardtop shells built up from scratch.
