it's one of those countries in that area so its probably a break off from the USSR i dunno. wasn't too far off

My turn to admit one thing wrong. Its actually a 1936 Tatra T87. Nothing to do with communism or Russia. (The russians can't design cars - that why they turned to Fiat for their designs!) As XRchic says some of those European designs were very innovative so its no surprise its mistaken for a postwar car. Same applies to the P76 when you look at the Holden and Ford at the time which were from an earlier era. The wedge shape was picked up big time.

Some things boil down to a person's taste. Some of the cars in this thread (e.g. the Citroen DS) most people wouldn't judge ugly at all. We have a Toyota person pestering us on the Territory forum who likes Toyota's bulging 4WD designs and thinks the Territory should look more aggressive like them. There's no accounting for taste!

I personally believe that this car should be added. Even when I loved Holdens I thought these cars were a piece of s#it.

You're not the only one.

VNs look like a land barge.

No doubt the SSs and Group As look tough, but the base model ones, look horrible. IMO

To make matters worse, they threw in a 60s Buick rattle box, that sounds like a bogan walking into Centrelink, with his thongs clapping on the floor.

Oh and I think the Taurus is quite ugly. :nutsycuck

Current Proton Savvy

Renault Megane

INSIPID!!!!

Lastly, I know we were talking about cars here, but the GM FISHBOWL, is deffinatly a contender for one of the ugliest vehicles on the road.

The Alfa 166 and Caddy Seville like OK to me. I always thought he A-M Lagondas were gorgeous.

Scorpio and Micra shouldn't be on the list - they're just ordinary.

What about the original Hyundai coupe?
