I've often wondered why manufacturers don't just put the fill points on both sides of the car. Cost reasons?

Both my Subarus (98 Outback and 06 Impreza) had fill up points on the driver's side.
I actually think the impreza said "FUEL DOOR ->" too, like the Festiva. IMO that whole cluster just looked cheap and nasty, the "fuel out" light was just a round orange LED... Idiot here didn't check when he bought his Falcon, got out of the car at the servo to find that I was now on the wrong side. Lucky the hose reached! |
