Hi F6 Concorde, in aviation circles PPRune is known as Panic PRune. Whilst they used to have robust discussions with many senior pilots - FO's, captains etc of various airlines; the membership has dwindled down to low time private pilots and Flight Simmers.

Don't waste your time on PPRune - it's hysterical nonsense.

Bit of a stink at the moment about the airline sneakily flying without the proper documentation and changing dates on permits...

Sorry...just one more reason not to go to Asian destinations for holidays, especially flying their local carriers...

California here we come in November...

Flying low cost airlines has it's scarey moments. If, IF you must fly with a low cost airline, have life insurance, travel insurance, sit in the rear of the airframe, (under the flight data recorder) & be prepared to die... at any moment.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.
