Haha, totally agree, but I only had 30sec to whip it up before heading out to meetings all afternoon. I was already sick of the sight of diagrams and flowcharts when I did it! Maybe we can put another together another one with 'Looks' as a primary datum.

Well, I love the way the Mazda6 looks, and the upper spec models come with nearly everything that opens and shuts... but I agree with you. They don't set my heart fluttering, and I don't want to be one of those people who drive a Mazda 6 either

S'posed to have been the C55 in there, that's a typo. The point I was hurriedly and somewhat poorly trying to convey was that if you want those three things in a car, you have to pay. I know I'd have a C55 in a heartbeat if its service costs depreciated as much as the base car did (otherwise they're like owning a helicopter)!

Instead, for the second Christmas in a row I'll be looking very closely at the V8 VFs (series II by then) as well as the new XR6T/XR8, and see what's up :thumbsup

Pfft... Margin? As I said above they will sell what they build. Avis and Hertz buy them for what they cost Ford, and they will be the biggest buyers over the next 18 months.

Simple things, but all worthwhile upgrades. Will make the XR6 great value.

The bonnet is the seal. Has been since the 5.0L engine was introduced.

have you had a chance to use the push button hand brake?
Just to answer this... after driving with a mate in his new SSV the car has a hill start assist. When in gear with the clutch in on a hill, you simply take your foot off the brake and the car will remain stationary for roughly 3 seconds before it starts to roll back, so it's just like taking off on flat ground. lever yes, but I still see nothing wrong with a conventional style, or the interior on that matter!

I was surprised though, the changes made make it very nice inside imo.
I really didn't like the look of the G6E in the original Ford CGI images. But it looks much better in the flesh according to apolloxbgt's photos. That looks very sleek and sophisticated, I'm really liking the G6E now!
