Mate the dash came up looking great.

The engine bay looks awesome, nearly a shame to put a motor in there.

Must be a great feeling being able to mount all that chrome stuff knowing that its on for the final time and soon enough you will be out there driving around, enjoying it. Hopefully wont be too much longer and I will be in the same situation.

I look at bays like this and think how much I have to do to mine. Looking great so far BlueKoop - look forward to seeing the engine in there.

Is the whole body being painted or just the engine bay?

Did you paint it yourself?

I have to say, Simmons are the worst wheels IMO, but that shot of your rear looks so hot and they really suit.

Nah Body was done about a year and a half ago. Just didnt have to time and space to put the effort in for the engine bay back then.

I didn't paint it but helped out with the bodywork.

Any the simmons I've had for years, used to be on my EB then got them widened for the coupe. Now have them fully polished. They are the only set of wheels I have ever bought. Only bad thing about Simmons is the effort you have to put in to keep em looking nice.

Haha nice call.

I got a call from a guy today. He offered me an xb coupe, with a 460 injected big block, c6, excellent body in dark blue, silver interior, electric windows and all for $25,000.

I was about to hand over even more cash, until my mate started laughing. PRIIIIIIIIICK!

Cheers Mate! Shame it wasn't a sunny day, quite overcast. Rained on the way taking her back home.

All went pretty smoothly. I'm going to modify the gear reduction starter so the solenoid hangs next to the sump away from the pacemakers. I still have allot of work to do till I turn the key!

That is UN...REALLL.
I really great example of how black & chrome look together. That is almost exactly what i'm planning for my engine rebuild in the future.

I really like the Blue you have chosen for your RIDE. You've built your self a very nice Coupe.
