Dammit dave, you'll never stop with that care will you?! LOL.
Did you have an ED/EB manifold on there previously or EF/EL? Quote:

It had the EA manifold originally (obviously! :P), but then it had an EF one. I've been playing around with an AU one (the au one's don't have that little protrusion behind the throttle body). I've been attacking it with the dremel to clean up a lot of the casting marks, etc. So far so good, but i won't know what sort of a poer difference it makes for a little while yet ;) |

Nope, no knocking on the manifold
It does hit the bonnet, but that's just because stupid me put the hose clamps around the wrong way. I'll fix it up first thing this morning. ;) |

Under the bonnet I got the Pacemaker extractors and just a single 2.5" exhaust from the cats back. Not sure about getting all that Trickflow stuff now, maybe just upgrade to explorer manifolds and see how that goes. For the interior I haven't done anything. I will eventually upgrade the stereo, but that won't be happening any time soon. Ash

I missed this thread 1st time around!
Umm, well the BA shifter in mine still isn't complete :P Gotta grab hold of a manual fascia sometime (change of plans for what I'm doing with the console) and Thanatos' gauge pod has given me a little idea ;) Since January I've done/had done the following things (car was initially 100% stock): 65mm t/b and 70mm MAF Pacemaker PH4000s + Twin 2.5" into single 3" exhaust BA shifter mod Superlows BTR S5 mild shift kit (works awesome with BA shifter in SSS mode!) EBII trip comp and c/c I should've also had a set of GT40P heads fitted by now, and I have a set of Explorer manifolds sitting boxed up in the cellar, but still haven't done this due to (initially) delays and (currently) lack of $$$. I've lost hours at my 2nd job which means I'm losing up to $200 p/w in income. Sucks to be me! Still haven't got my tax back yet either... Oh, I've got 3/4 of a thermofan setup at home, I just need to get some fuses and a 2nd relay, haha! Unplanned mods: Wombat-spec bodykit Failed diff ratio change (3.27 --> 3.9 (for 10 minutes) --> 3.27) :alien2: Future mods: Respray Pimp Tint Fitting the damn EF GLi tape deck (still looking for some plugs!) Vortech or KB (looooooong way off!) :Reverend: :Reverend: :Reverend: Changing the diff for a COMPLETE 3.45 LSD diff sometime... That's about it... Now back to working on my late assignment : -Dave- |
