Don't get me wrong when I say this, but the Police might have had to wait till he was out of the car and on the way to hospital to ring.
Not really warranted to be mad at them, it would have been just as upsetting and scary for them at the scene I can assure you.

Maybe they could ask the Police what the procedure is, just so they have it settled in their own mind. Sounds like a silly thing I guess but sometimes people get peeved and then blow things up out of proportion and it might have been settled if they just speak to whoever is in charge and get clarification.

The awesome thing is, he is ok and on the road to recovery, thank goodness.

Mate it is a bit hard for the police to ring someone up and tell them there has been an accident when they are still trapped in a car and the guys are working to free them. If they did not see the accident it would not have been long and they would have been notified, but first thing is to make sure the scene is safe and they get him out and make sure he is ok and start to treat him. Shocking that his parents had to see him like that and find him for themselves but atleast they could see what was happening and tell others. Having a knock at your front door and opening it to find the police standing there saying there has been an accident isnt pleasent either. No nice way to find out someone in your family has been hurt and taken to hospital.

dont scrap it man, strip it, then sell the shell to sims. Biggest mistake you will make is not stripping it. Believe me its happened to me with my commodore. :( Ill help you this weekend if you want.

Bah, I had the old EB dragged up a driveway on the brake disks when it took it's last ride. Strip it first, then call a scrap metal place to pick up the shell. You would be suprised how much you can get back, even if you selling stuff on the cheap to get rid of it.

Good to see your ok.
