They're selling run of the mill cars. Not Farrari's. Ranger is making the money. Doubt the other cars are doing anything.

What's your point? Many manufacturers sell less than Ford in this country, even those with similar products.

These brands aren't running the amount of one make dealers that the Ford brand have. Look what's happened to Holden's dealer network.

The profit line only makes sense when you have a cash cow moving decent numbers.

No point selling cars at a loss or little profit just to support a dealer network. Harsh reality is the network needs to size itself to the sales.

Very few Ford only dealerships in Adelaide. Many are run by much bigger companies. How many ford dealerships does AP Eager own? This would be a trend in most cities and across multiple brands.

I looked at Carsales. There are 243 Endura for sale.
Most of them are year 2018, and most of them have approx. 4000 to 6000 km on the odometer.

Half are AWD.
A third of them are ST-Line, and a quarter of them are Titanium.

Obviously these are demonstrators. Not sure if these would come with full warranty if sold by a Ford dealer, or if they come with a year less than a new car.

Warranty is from date of first registration. Some of them would be private vehicles, possibly traded.

So is the Endura Ford's answer to the ZB Commodore ?

I struggle with the concept that a private owner would trade in a 12 month old car in with up to 6000 ks on the clock,
These would all surely be dealer demo or ford employee cars

A relative of mine who is a ford employee is now handing in her mustang for a ranger and the ks are similar to the above range.

Which makes me wonder how many of the mustang and ranger numbers are actually due to ford staff lease purchases .

There are any number of reasons why someone needs to offload their relatively new car.

How does a 12 month old demo have 4-6000km? That makes even less sense.

Probably a few employee cars in there as well.
