I never realised this before mine has 15000 klms on it,

On the Automatic i just found that if i shift it over to performance mode it comes up on the dash PER, then if i dont manually shift it thru the range, it stays in performance mode as Auto and it is just to much fun....

Does any of that make sence

Mh XH had the Power/Econ switch... Still wonder to this day what difference it made... because put your foot down in either mode, and it seemed to do the same thing!

Makes the first gear longer. Definitely noticeable and actually kinder on the transmission too.

The EA-EL power mode was so much better in that you could set and forget.

I have read a few vf2 ss redline reviews online. Also videos.. they conclude that its outstanding bang for buck and there is nothing comes close to it.. more than one review says this.

Why do they just completely ignore the fgx xr8? A GT r-spec for commodore redline pricing and dont get a mention as an alternative?

I agree the ss is great but there is no other v8 performance car available for that money?

Its all in the owners manual. You might discover some other nice features as well, if you read it.
