You can also run the spark plugs out of a vn v6 commodore NGK BPR5EFS-13. They use the same Iridium Plug NGK TR55IX. Recently went through this with a mates AU2 5L One Tonner. Might be easier to get these out in sticks. Cheaper too.

Well the mods are coming thick and fast on the Fairlane, just what you would expect from a genius like myself.

I replaced the wiper blades.

I wuz thinking that maybe I should do one of them 'how tos' some of youse blokes do.

So here it is - a complete guide with pics and notations.

Step one.

Take new blades out of boot.

Step two.

Place on car

Pretty neat huh?

But wait, there's more. Tune in tomorrow when you will see what I have planned for the Ghia floor mats!

Great write up Cav. I now feel able to have a go myself. Matter of fact, I purchased the same replacement blades off Ebay some weeks ago, but did not feel competent enough to fit them - until now. If I run into 'problems' I will be back in touch.

ps. Spark plugs. Are they now done?

The spark plugs are still in the boot. According to Silver Ghia, who will remain nameless, I have to get six pieces of 1/2 inch heater hose so I can change the spark plugs over. Either that or spend $squillion on Ford # 8764764 spark plug remover specialist tool.

Then I'd have to get some whiteout to number the heater hose tube 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. I don't wanna get them mixed up do I?

I'm very anxious as I'll have to go back to Repco and the question is - is that stunning gorgeous blonde going to be there?

I'll have to take my wife with me so she won't be able to hit on me overtly like last time when she fondled my you know whatsits.

Youse don't believe me about the blonde at Repco do youse?

Well here she is in the flesh

In the interests of accuracy that should be "automotive interior floor enhancement redesigner" or AIFER for short.

You need to remember that Cav is in Tumut, which is as cold as where you are. Tumutians aren't known to be quick even when they get their 3 days of Summer!

Yea he is just down the road from my ancestors in Gilmore. I forgot I had to make allowances for not only age, but now being from the country! Maybe he is out doing a midnight run on his neighbours garden hose so he can sort out changing the plugs?
