Question What Was Your First Car???

hey i bought a '73 xb fairmont about a month ago, which is my first car, and i now have a year to fix it up a bit before it goes on the road. Just asking what your first car was and how long did it last you?

My first car was a volvo 940GL. I drove it for 6 months. Btw, my mate drives an Xb fairmont. It sounds pretty tough.

ZC fairlane. Diamond white Black roof & Trim

Lowered, 310 hp 351 windsor T bar, 7" Chrome steel 5 slot mags it was cool & fast.

Crashed into a pole. That's why P platers can't have these cars anymore

Sorry....

Datsun 180B. Was a hand me down when mum got a new car.

Lasted till I had to start Uni. Pulled up at the lights after 30 minutes of 100km/h driving to notice that the front was engulfed with steam.

Almost boiled her dry from a nice crack along the top tank (2 people actually thought i had a fire in the engine bay the steam was that bad).

Upgraded it after that to a new Festiva

White EF Gli Automatic. Found out it had repaired stuructural damage to the B-Pillar (driver seat was ripped out of mounts too) so it was moved on to a Toyota dealer...

XW falcon with a big block 188cid six cylinder and three on the tree.

drove it for about a year , then took a short excursion off the side of the road and shook the bog out of the rust holes so parked it up and replaced it with another XW.

the first one is still sitting on my cousins farm but not much left now after a bushfire cooked it a couple of years ago.

1959 "tank" Fairlane 500. Three tone ... white over light blue and dark blue. Could fit four across the front seat and another four across the back and still room to squeeze an extra person onto each seat if needed. Heheheh, how many cars today can fit ten people?

Oh, and I remember quite vividly that my GF and I could lay on the back seat without our heads or feet touching the doors.
