I voted for the BA/BF. Just the general exterior styling of the BA/BF is better. I agree on the headlights for the AU's. The XR's were completely different to all other models in the Au range. Thats a good thing. I think that's better than the generic headlights used for XR6 through to GTP.

EL XR got my vote.

But I'll be keeping my BF GT-P. Agree on how BA/BF XRs don't look different enough to stockers. BF2 went some way to fix that, but changing the headlights on the regular models. BA/BF FPV's get enough of a frontal upgrade to make them different to the rest of the pack.

Agreed, but Ford did manage to prove you can fit a round peg in triangular hole.

I love the look of the AUII.. The only reason we got it was for the twin headlights. If it had the forte style lights.....YUK. It'd still be sitting in the car yard LOL

EB for me. Its the only design that wasn't facelifted (apart from AU). And with a facelifted car theres always a compromise or disproportion in the flow of the original design it was based on, and you only notice this a few years after the facelift.
I'm now starting to see this with BA.
BA close second.

agreed, they look so different from the base model and yet look so dam good. and this coming from an AU owner!!!

The BA-BF models look tough in there own right but alot of the time with them its the colour of the car sometimes that makes it stand out from the crowd (yellow ones look unreal)

has to be the EF/EL with the full kit and atleast FTR or EL GT rims. The EL is better IMO, just smoother to look at, but i have an EF XR with the EL front....im sure alot of others have that lol.. they still grab my eye when ever one goes past...

It's not that they look alike, the differences are more subtle. BA XR's are different to Stockers as well, bars, skirts, headlights.

Ohh this is a tough one. I can't decide between an EL, AU I or AUII/III (assuming they all have the full bodykit). Hmmm if I had to choose it would be the EL because it's by far the most aggressive Falcon to come out in recent years.

BA/BF are too bland, although the bulge on the 8s is fantastic.

BA/BF. Althought there are so many XR6s going around these days you'd think it was the base model.

I was thinking of course i'm biased, but i don't think i am.
Always wanted an EL XR, and got one years ago. Had the opportunity to buy a BA and in the end didn't want to. They look too close the stock models. Plus there likes a#$% holes, everyones got one.
And to this day, i'm glad i kept my EL, still looks horn!
Not to mention the Ba's still carried over that horrid AU balloon roof!

I think the SR Falcon body kit looks much better on the BA and BF. EL was a great car to look at.

I think your spot on there. All the B-Series owners say they will never own an AU becuase the BA is far better looking car. I guess that's why you can bolt AU doors straight onto a B-Series and it all fits. Exterior wise, its a nose and bum updgrade. They just won't admit that the BA is the Series 4 AU, Series 5 is the Mk2 etc etc. If ford wanted to get away from the so called Horrid AU shape, they would have gone with a new platform. But for the B-Series, they just have to get used the fact that if it looks like an AU. Maybe the Orion will help in that department.

I never had a problem with the AU doors, it was the front and back of the AU that made me stay away.
