Smile Sierra 5sp adapting...

Hey guys and gals, I was just wondering if a Sierra 5sp can somehow be put onto either a 250 x-flow or one of the 4.0ltr engines from an E-series.

For the e-series would it just be better using the T-5?

*wasnt exactly sure where to post this as it involves a fair few different era types, plus the Sierra box is mainly used on the Pinto's and such.*

Oh yeh, this would be going into a TC Cortina L

The sierra 5sp will snap like a twig behind a 4L. Use a T5 or supra 5sp.

Yes, the sierra box does not cope well with anything over 200bhp and would be a pain to adapt, anyway. Best advice would be to sell the box to someone with an Escort and go out and buy a 2nd hand supra with the proceeds.

Cool, that was my first inclination, just wanted some verification.

Cheers for that.
