Default LZ Hatch Door Switch Removal

The hatch door switch has failed and feels like the button is stuck. The remote will still unlock the hatch and the reversing camera is still working.

After removing the hatch door interior trim there appears to be no access to this switch. It appears that this switch / camera assembly just clips into place without screws.

Is someone able to advise the method of removing this item?

It's probably not a lot of help but the only instructions in the WSM is the diagram below:

I've found searching for Mk2, 2.5, 3 etc has been helpful for troubleshooting my LV.

Hopefully this link has the info you're after. CLICK HERE

Thanks. I'll take the interior trim off again and have another look at this.

To close off this thread.

I was able to see the right end retaining clip with the interior panel removed. Once pressure was applied the switch assembly was released and then all was required was the disconnection of the 2 wiring plugs.

Thanks.
