Thats pretty good value, the issue is more all the other bits required for a conversion into most cars.

The social media post talks about auto and manual control packs from Ford Performance which includes throttle and air box assemblies, PCM and wiring.

Not sure how much xtra for this

Control pack was out of stock when the engine was in stock. Seems the chip shortage was effecting it. Haltech were working on a tune, I think it was on the 2000 series ecu.

The bell housing is a Mod pattern so the ZF 6 speed might fit.

Yesterday my friend just picked up the one he ordered, 2022 F250 Lariat 7.3 with a 4.30 rear end. Very smooth and quiet with a lot of instant throttle response. A lot nicer to drive than the diesel. Felt like it could pull a house.

Frank from dandy engines and harrop releasing a new vid on youtube after having built a stronger bottom end for the 7.3, touched up the heads and added a boost friendlier cam. Makes serious stonk easily.

Please no. There's enough dip****s in Rangers that think they're driving a sports car as it is!

If it can fit in a fox body mustang, it can fit a Territory. It’s smaller than a modular 5.4, and a few of those have been fitted to Territories, so it should be no problem.

The only issue they have is the tall throttle body entry at the front, but the Territory has a deep engine bay so that shouldn’t be an issue. There are work arounds to that anyway.

Would either of you have any links about the availability of the control packs. I know of someone with one of these on it's ways from the US and says that Ford Performance said the control packs are not available yet.

On the Herrod Socials mentioned the FP Control Pack.

I've also seen on Palm Beach Dyno (youtube channel),
They have been talking about an aftermarket control loom. OBR control pk. https://obrcontrolsystems.com/produc...-control-pack/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLuGFaNmSq0

Also watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRdcM8VtTwQ

Harrop + Dandy use fuel tech system.

Is that just for the stock motor?

Engine is only $10k from the USA. Freight wouldn't be much, just have to pay the GST.

And whilst it's a lot of money, its comparatively cheap for a new Crate Engine.

I don't know about that plan Dazz. The ship's primary powerplant might fear the 7.3 as a rival and push it overboard when none of the crew is watching.

It's a risk that will need to be factored in.

Godzilla’s are available in australia for around 13k. To get one running you will need an aftermarket ecu and the loom modifying.
Tuned ready to run your looking at around 19k

That's the price that Herrod had posted on Social Media nearly 1 yr ago now.

I would also assume that you would need to add a Computer on top of that to run it.

Alot of engine for the money!

Crate Engine's can come in a variety of dresses, but as they go this one's pretty complete.
If you want the FEAD kit and starter, that adds about another $1k.

Still needs exhaust, fuel supply, drive-train, and a car to go in. But interestingly it will bolt to a "standard" (5.4 or 5.0) Bell-housing.

Obviously needs ECU, but that's also going to depend on your application. And the sky's the limit in terms of cost.

Looking for some information actually, Have an EL XR8 and am thinking of this Godzilla combo! Would be absolutely epic!!!
But not sure what box I could run and so on? Have a Stage 2 ZF from my old XR6 Turbo but may or may not use it or should I just go TH400? Any help be appreciated!
