Default which LPG modle to buy for a salesman

Hi
I am after a recommendation to buy 3 LPG Falcon sedan for salesmen in the company. Which model should we buy and why? BA, AU,...etc I do not mind second hand either as new would be over budget. Not sure which is used for taxis and police cars, that might be the best work horse.

thx

Hi samjesse,

If you can't do brand new, then late model secondhand is the best bet. Look for a 2006-2008 BF or BF mkII 'E-Gas' sedan. These are the ones used by the taxis that regularly see over half a million kays of service.

You should be able to get something in good nick without heaps of kays for the very low teens mark. Good luck!

Any particular advantage the years 2006/8 have?

It's the later generation ... and can be had for very reasonable prices.
The other thing is lower kays on them ... compared to earlier models.

Just gives you more life out of them.

There are some FG EGAS models out there ... but they still command a higher price.

Is it easy to find those BF on LPG only? I looked around and I fund only wagons and I had to search hard. I'd rather have no petrol system at all.

from my taxi experience I found late BAs seemed far more reliable than the BF, they seemed to have cut costs on the BF redesigining components that were weaker after the redesign
