Fantastic photos guys! I can't believe it was 2 years ago that we did the event together. Time has just flown by. Congrats on all the trophies - well deserved as the cars looked fabulous as normal. Hey Big John ... don't you dare park your immaculate beast next to my drag weary yellow peril! :

Will be back with my car soon - just need some brakes (they are handy sometimes!).

Cheers

Hi Gaela,

We all miss your company and looking forward in catching up again. Thank you for your praise of my BABY. Troy puts in alot of hard yakka to look that way. It is a pleasure to park next to a machine like yours that looks also great and i would never try to race you on the street.

Cheers

Hi again John

Just unpacked my show trophies and the drag one we won last year however I think I'll be calling it a day in both areas and 'playing ladies'. Just keen to support a few club displays and enjoy being with you all. Heart isn't quite in it anymore and I have a new direction in my life. 'Been there, done that' ... with the show scene and the car still holds the record on the drag strip and even when it is beaten, it was still the first in the 11's.

Forget taking me on in a street race - I'm a bit conservative and obey the 'rule book says....' However when we are all together next, I'll give you a steer of her - she is something else! Ask XR Chic - she drove it back from Heathcote to Kilmore and couldn't stop smiling!

See you all soon.

Cheers
Gaela

Thats going a little to far isnt it????

Oh and how many of MFC's cars won trophies????? nada, zip, zero
But was a good display and was a good win for them.........

I can mention a few clubs that had excellent displays... Orsm being fantastiuc as usual with some excellent cars and considering they drove all the way from Vic as well and took home a swag of trophies......

I had enough probs with dust and stuff and I came from the other side of town, let alone from another state.......

Inappropriate post in this area. You might get some deserved feedback that is as distasteful as your post. ORSM is a great club that is a humble winner or loser. You should apologise for such rudeness.

I stand corrected....

Shane aka Redpepper won an award for his Escort after judges decided an Escort with a Jap motor shouldnt win over a Ford powered article......

Just found out the news just then.....

Well Done Shane on the belated Win!!!!!!

The people who owned this beauty were kind enough to let me sit inside and to place my arm on the ledge. What a cruiser!

This guy had owned more of these previously but decided on keeping this one as it was in his words "a real FREAK, must have been built on a Monday"!

Some really nice old schoolers.

Another XT GT. This was nice.

This GT looked the goods. A kind passer by showed me a vid of a wicked bellow of smoke this thing can pull, so its definitely driven the way its meant to be when needed.

The detail was superb.

This immaculuate car, won on the day. It was the proud owners 40th birthday since owning the car since new. He bought it because his father wouldn't let him buy a V8 at the time but, he still wanted a GT.
It has also done alot of track time and even a Targa.
