Hi All,
I have a AU2 XR8 200kw and was wondering what pressure the pump should be pushing out. Also when i boot it should it give more pressure?? The reason i ask is when i boot it the car seams to lag like it is not getting enough fuel.. Thanks

6 cylander and v8 pumps deliver a maximum out put of 85 litres per hour at 300 kpa,
idle pressure 225 kpa in another part of the book it says (i6ho) 300 kpa and it reads like the v8 might be 275 kpa delivery , so i`d say between 275 and 300 kpa  , it also says maximum pressure drop once switched off is 10% in 10 seconds from max ellerys shop manual .

If the pump can deliver 240ml of fuel in 10 seconds @ 275 kPa she's good.

The fuel pump delivers the volume, and the regulator sets the pressure.
The AU 200kw XR8 has the standard fuel pressure reg; 39psi at the fuel rail with the vacuum reference disconnected. The fuel pressure regulator maintains a constant pressure drop across the injector e.g. as manifold vacuum increases, fuel rail pressure is reduced and vice versa.
