Just thought I'd mention I saw a new model Focus (ie the one just released/not sold here yet) in Melb yesterday (on Bell St Preston East). It was a 5dr hatch, blue & had no Ford brass tag on the front plate (didn't see the rear). Has anyone else seen it or another one running around?

Probably an evaluation model, it wouldn't be a publicly owned car because they aren't released yet, I imagine they're just making sure they're as brilliant as we want them to be!! It's the reason why so many manufacturers get done for spy shots because they need to test cars on public roads before release, I'd assume it's just an evaluation model.

Seen the Top Gear review of the new Focus? apparently its not as out there are the edgy current focus. They parked the not released (at the time) car on the busy streets, and not one person looked at it... considering the car sells millions in europe, this could be a disappointment
