Ever wondered what car has the 'FORD' Numberplate. A couple of cars from the weekend "rock and roll" meet at Daisys in Ringwood. Saw some of the best cars I have ever seen, old fairlanes and lots of other old fords. Sorry about the quality of the photos, I took them with my phone. Big Pete will love this chopped one

FORD in Queensland was on a transit van used by Southside Ford as a courtesy bus thing...

Ive seen FORDS in qld on a Territory TX, looks crap!
Ive also seen Q FORD on an F250 which wasnt owned by the dealer Q FORD, apparently he tried to sell them to them for a high figure and they told him to go jump. |

i think i have seen the FORD plate over here in WA on a brand spankers black DJR XR8 or whatever they are - looked very clean!

There's a dealer in theTerritory who has his company cars as...FORD 1,2,3,4 etc

I know a Guy who has the QLD plate GTHO just sitting in his shed... i'm sure a good sized figure could pry it from him... the QLD plate "FERRARI" went for like $70,000 or something stupid up here....

Pretty sure the NSW RMS reserves the brand name plates for the owner of the brand. So good luck trying to get it.

There used to be a light truck (like a small delivery truck) driving around Sydney with FORDV8 as the plates.

The plate FORD is 'unavailable' in NSW due no doubt to being on hold by a purchaser.
I highly doubt that the NSW RMS will reserve them specifically for the owner of the brand. Personally too I don't think those plates would sell for a particularly high $ value |

I was parked up next to a Red XY GT Fairmont (SA) at a small carshow a few years back wearing FORD GT plates.
Just spotted the car still wearing them for sale online only a few days ago. |

W.A. registered Ford last seen a few years back on a black FG GT, the guys had it on a few cars over the years, he updates often and it was regularly parked at a business in North Perth next to a Statesman registered as Holden. Cool to see them together.
