Default So, what plans do you have for your AU in 2010?

I vaguely remember threads like this in years gone by but hadn't seen one for this year, so here one is!

Pretty self explanatory really, kind of an AU New Years resolution and may be of interest to some to look back on at years end to see what they planned and what they actually did.

My plans are simple. Get it back on the road in the next 6 weeks, drive and enjoy it for a little bit and then sell up.

If my house sells for what I want for it:
New set of shoes
Lowered
Full respray
W2A PSI Raptor kit, or Whipple kit from snort and push for 250rwkw.

- rims : i have some BA 17 inch XR wheels...but no money for tyres right now
- gotta get it lowered...it's too high, and too soft.
- exhaust...stock sounds too boring
- window tint...summer is hot

hopefully finally buying a home this year, so upgrades will likely be slow...but i will get there

My main two things for 2010 are:

- Tinted windows
- Fully detail the inside and out and have it looking absolutely mint!

- 27mm whiteline front swaybar (maybe)

If I somehow become flush with cash (which is looking very very very unlikely), I'd investigate getting a nice cam and a custom tune.

Moving in with the mrs in less than a month, so expenses from then on will substantially increase, which means much less money for the car :(

But we'll see what happens!

Roof respray, stereo upgrade, reversing camera, work on improving the fuel economy and probably replace the suspension bushes.
Oh, and continue to enjoy driving it.

An old ute for daily duties and a bike for fun. Got to find a buyer for the XR first though.

Firstly change my old wagon back to stock.

Then on my new wagon,
- Fit LSD Diff and lowered rear springs (need to reset them lower this time)
- Finally do the manual conversion (booked in next wednesday)
- Put the pacemakers and 2.5inch system on from my old wagon
- Fit the Ghia interior from the wreck i have bought
- Try and get my act together and rebuild the windsor motor sitting in the shed (stroke it first)
- Stereo install with custom fitted side panels in the rear to cater for some 6x9's
And plenty more little fiddly bits and pieces that i could keep on writting about for hours.

Pretty much if i finish most of this i'd be happy.

Beacuse the frequency in which he will be falling off the bike means all his cash will be tied up in replacement fairings.

Presuming that I keep it another year, possibly two tone paint and probably custom leather seats.

That's about it.

[All my kids (4) and my wife have later model - as in 1 - 2 years old - cars than I do. Every now and then I get the urge to get into something new(er) but I really like the damned thing. We've got my wife's euromobile for when we have to be a bit flash but for trips my car is the go. I should have left it stock. It wouldn't be so difficult to flick it, lol]

Find the rattling noises in my suspension and fix them.
Drive it to work every day.
Find a rear bar to suit (T1 bar or maybe just an AU2 rear lip).
