Yea the ST is HOT... and also, i wish they had a Diesel option.... the Zetec S in UK with the turbo diesel engine is apparently hot property, everyone has it. Even read somewhere in EVO mag that Zetec S TDi was better then the ST.........

Turn up the boost I assume and it would be pretty good. I think the problem here is that not many people would buy diesel as they always associate them with commercial vehicles and being a noisey engine.

I would consider a modern diesel over a petrol engine...especially after having driven one for 7,000km and it returning 5.5l per 100 on German autobahns...average speed was 160km/h so pretty good for a 2L engine.

Well the Golf 2.0L TD is just sky rocketing.... every mag loves em... looks like diesel is the new fuel of the century..... More Torque, Less Fuel.... sounds good to me!
