Default OPLESE's engine bay - NICE :)

Seen this car at Knox Car Show (VIC) on 08/01/2008 so took some engine bay shots........

Pretty sure ppl have seen it drifting at Shepp Nats with all the Nismo Gizmos, great effort by a Ford Boy flying the Ford Flag with the rices

Here are some engine pics...........

Each one is a single throttle body. There all hooked up via a linkage to the accelerator cable so they open at the same time. You should be running a fitler over them but for show he would probably take it off since the trumpets are polished

Yeah power figures would be very interesting. I wouldn't have thought that one of these things would have the revs or airflow throughput to justify this, so would be good to see some figures!

I cant quite recall the exact figures he was telling me at Springnats buy pretty sure it was around 165rwkw, I could be wrong tho. Pretty sure it has JMM DEV5 kit in it, EF motor, trumpets etc.

love the trumpets! wonder how the induction roar sounds like?
if he cleaned up the coil pack and leads, it will look even better.

The car used to have 172kw's .

It's in the last stage of a turbo conversion and I think it almost looks tuffer then the trumpets. I was looking for more power so i can smoke the tires in 4th gear wkile I'm drifting on the bigger tracks. :eclipsee_

I watched you at SpringNats - sweet driving but yeah you needed a bit more power to show those import boys up - but GREAT effort keeping the FORD flag flying

Have you got any more pics of your machine? or the turbo build>?

James good to hear from ya! Last time I seen you was up at Deca when I was in Dylan's car out on the skid pan!
You'll have to post up a few pics for us when the turbo is completed. Keep us posted with dyno figures too! Great work mate, probably see you at Springnats again later this year!
