Do you repair these, and if so is there a standard price etc??

no sorry, we dont do any repair on climate controls, not sure who does them, i would say u can go thru a ford dealership.

Apprently theres some guys that repair these units in carnegie, charge $75.00 i think.

They charge $50 to fix these and an extra $25 for an extended warranty of 2 years.

Mmmm, when I removed mine to send off, AU2 Fairmont, the ribbon with the copper tracks on it had been cut off with a pair of scissors, fair dinkum, just cut off so no repair available and no trade in?

Thanks, I will check out the second address!..

PS...saw a few on ebay, second hand, up to $750 bucks

The squared off foil ribbon cable end has not just slipped out of the relevant PCB clamp connector has it? See https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Recogni...nnectors/25629 and scroll down to near the bottom of the page.
