Default I had an Accident

Not much to say really. was doing the speed limit and the rear end got a tad bit light.. applied the brakes (yes i now know that was the wrong thing to do) and then before i knew it i was fish tailing and hit the dirt embankment and rolled it.....

My air freshner is A OK.. the speed limit on that corner is 90 and there is no posted recomended speed limit..
I was not hooning, i was not speed and nor was i driving like an idiot. It was drizzling a bit, i slowed down a bit cause i was aware of it but obviously not enough

im alright, just some grazes on the right elbow and sore muscles.

If you dont have anything nice to say then bugger off my thread and dont post.

This is in fact my car, there are no stripes cause when the XR4 came out i destriped it.

there was no one else in the car, and no one on the road. i did not hurt any1

That's not an accident....

That's a freaking near death experience.

Happy to see you are alive to take pictures and post them up.

Little Fiesta held up well.

Sean,

First and foremost, glad your ok mate.

What a major drag to have to go through this but. Losing your pride and joy is never any fun.

Could be some water has lifted some oil on the road, hence your back end getting a bit light and sliding..

Time for Rear Wheel Drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where you can power out.... : : :

Seriously, good to see your ok, and great pics too!!!

Whats the next weapon of choise? XR4 or XR5?

Cheers

Jeez mate thats no good to see. Should have hit the e-brake twice ;) jkz

Silverdale Road is notorious for these kinds of accidents. I think I was caught out on the same corner or similar on my N12 Pulsar. Ended up going sideways down the road, overcorrected it, the back end flicked around and did a 180 to a halt.

Glad to see you waked away from it mate. The rest of us can draw comfort on the fact that they're a very sturdy car. That first shot was a real shocker. All the best mate & hope you're back on the road soon.

When i heard the news i was gobsmacked. Such a hot looking car, completly gone in an instant. These things happen to the best of you but the main thing is your are still alive. I dont think the pictures tell the story. Having seen it in person looking battered and bruised the little fez did put up a fight. It will surely be missed but still remembered in our hearts.

Shyt Sean...I am speechless.

Just absolutely worried that you are OK. Make sure you go and have a checkup if you haven't already. You probably won't start feeling really sore for a few days.

No offence....but sod the car.... it's your health you need to worry about. Hope all goes well
